When people hear the word “marketing”, many immediately think of advertising, but marketing is so much more than coming up with a catchy slogan. The real value of marketing comes from a leader who can set marketing strategy, and knows how to segment markets and target customers effectively.
Marketing is intertwined with all aspects of business, and strongly influences not only sales, but also product development and corporate strategy. At the Ross School of Business, I received a world-class marketing and strategy education. I have put this expertise to use in segmenting markets and targeting customers across a wide spectrum of industries, from a national high-speed rail initiative, to a product line of niche luxury spirits, and even a high-tech gaming console.
